Biographies
Judy Fleagle, former editor with Oregon Coast and Northwest Travel magazines and author of numerous books, lives in Florence, OR. Her books include both regional books and personal books, such as her popular, Living Life to the Fullest . . . after age 70! You can find the full list on her blog, Crossings Author.
Kathy Latusick began writing short fantasy stories when she was a teen, and wrote her first novel many years later. Much of her inspiration comes from vivid dreams. She lives on a farm in Oregon with her husband and various dogs, cats, goats, and chickens.
Robin Layne (1960-2025) was an accomplished writer of short stories and novellas. The Southern California C.S. Lewis Society published her short story, “The Hearth Dragon’s Tale”, and other works have won contests, such as AuthorsbyDesign and the Portland Writers’ Mill. The Oregon Writers Alliance published her short story, “The Princess and the Coal Boy” in their 1996 Anthology.
Sara Wesley McBride wrote a contemporary romance novel set in Venice, Will Write for Wine, and a collection of short stories inspired by Venetian history, Stories I Stole from Lord Byron's Bastard. Numerous short stories have been published in anthologies and two of her plays have seen the stage. She travels the world with her husband and tiny bouncy dog named Wombat.
